Client project
AWAD
I built focused improvements for AWAD’s existing website, giving its editors a clearer way to arrange profiles and keep cultural-partner information consistent across pages.

The goal
Make routine website updates less awkward
AWAD wanted two routine website updates to be easier: arranging profiles and keeping cultural-partner information consistent. It needed focused improvements to the existing website, rather than a redesign.
Where I came in
I developed the profile-ordering and cultural-partner tools, their presentation within the existing site, and the guidance for the people making updates.
The work
What we delivered.
Put the people in the right order
I gave editors straightforward control over profile order, so the people on the website can be presented as intended without changing the page design.
Keep each cultural partner together
A cultural-partner collection brings the names, logos and links together, making the information easier to maintain and present consistently.
Fit the way the team already works
The improvements fit the existing editing experience, with practical guidance for the people looking after the content.
The result
What it made possible.
Two practical editorial improvements that give the team more control over everyday updates, while retaining the website’s existing content and design.
